If you didn’t hop on the fringe bandwagon back in 2015, not to worry because fringe is back for Spring 2018! There was most definitely a fringe movement back in 2015 which spread across the fashion industry like wildfire, and I couldn’t be happier that
it’s made a comeback so soon. It isn’t all the time we see trends come back within a few years, it’s usually much longer. But all over the Spring 2018 fashion week runway designers gave us a glimpse of what to expect in their springs lines, and the obvious one? FRINGE.
Like I said I’m all for the fringe comeback, I embraced it back in 2015 with my fringe tee tank-tops (homemade may I add), Native American type clothing with fringe detail and of course fringe pocketbooks. I love fringe because I feel like it adds so much to an otherwise ordinary piece. For example the sweater I’m wearing in this post would be nothing without its fringe details!
If you’re not feeling the whole full-on fringe — try a fringe-embellished accessory, or fringe detail on a pair of shoes. Start by subtly adding fringe into your outfits; and then work your way up to the bigger fringe pieces like a skirt, dress, or full fringe top.
I’ve rounded up some fun ways of how you can incorporate fringe into your wardrobe! Check them out below…
Fringe Jackets: Perfect way to dress up a plain outfit!? A fringe jacket of course.
Fringe Tops: Do you want to make a statement? If so, then get your hands on a fringe top! Perfect when paired with jeans, or a skirt!
Fringe Dresses: Be best dressed at your next big event, by wearing a full fringe dress! (I’m seriously obsessed with them).
Fringe Shoes: If you don’t like to be “loud” with your dress try buying a fringe detailed shoe. This gives you a chance to try out the trend in a subtly way.
